T1W2: JOURNAL

Every parent believes that working hard from young is integral. Hence, when they have their own children they will impose a lot of pressure on their child just to make sure that they succeed in life and have a prestigous job in the future.

Whenever the child does badly in a test, the parents would often chide the child and go into a long diatribe on the need to work hard when the child has actually put in their best effort. Parents wish they could expunge the awful fact that their child is doing poorly. Instead of comforting the child, they flood the child with even more work.

When this happens, the parents becomes the anathema in the child. They would feel that their parents are heartless people who are only concern about their acaedmics.

Take it from me, next time before you inundate your child with work, remember that studying is no piece of cake.
